Decade of Centenaries Programme 2022
The commemorative initiative for 2022 features a number of local activities involving local groups across the county. Building upon the success of the 2020-21 programme, this website will act as a host of all commemorative content for county Leitrim for the rest of the Decade of Centenaries programme. The majority of the events to date have been virtual events, which extend the reach of this programme to the wider diaspora and helps showcase the diversity of local history, cultural and artistic groups in county Leitrim.
Articles of historical interest have been reproduced with the support of the Leitrim Observer and are available for the general public to examine. There will be regular updates of media content throughout the coming months.
